By car the distance from Malaga airport to the centre of Benalmadena (Arroyo de la Miel) is 12.4KM (7.7 miles), with normal traffic you will be there in about 13 minutes.

As frequent flyers and travelers, we have explored all four transportation options available for traveling from Malaga Airport (AGP) to Benalmádena:

  • UBER: Booking an Uber to Benalmádena will cost you around 20 euros (£16.93). The airport has designated parking for Uber cars, and they arrive promptly. After exiting the main building, go straight and then turn left to reach the Uber pickup area (refer to the map below).

  • LOCAL TAXI: To get a taxi from Malaga Airport to Benalmádena, head to the right after exiting the airport building. You will notice numerous white taxis located between the airport and the car rental parking area. Local taxis may be slightly more expensive compared to Uber; however, some people prefer them.
